So my In-laws are in for the holidays and want to go to a beach. We have been to Fort DeSoto which we love but here good things of Honeymoon Island but since we haven't been to this one we aren't sure.

Which of these do you recommend? I highly doubt they will go in the water but I'm sure my daughter will.

Thanks.

Honeymoon Island is just gorgeous.
Also Dunedin downtown area is a very nice area to take them after the beach.

The Bradenton Beaches are my favorite. Probably takes you too long to drive down there.

Caladesi is my favorite but you have to take the ferry to get there.

I personally like Pass-A-Grille. It's peaceful and idylic and almost never has too many people. Really depends on what you like.

I've heard that Anna Maria and the Bradenton area are very nice although I still haven't gotten there...

Anna Maria and the Bradenton Beaches are wonderful - really my favorite in the whole region for different reasons. Old Florida, with neat places to eat right on the beach, white sand, less crowded than Siesta and the other touristy beaches.

All the suggestions above are nice, too, so you really have a great selection to choose from!

There's no place in Tampa Bay like Siesta Key. Consistently rated the #1 best beach in America. See your toes in water waist deep. Siesta Key Chamber
