^ that's cause you left at 7am. If you had left at 5pm as you originally had stated, you would be sitting in traffic for hours...

Glad you got home safe and made good time but you also realize that many of us figure it is better to estimate a longer drive and you get there quicker than to tell you it is going to take 8 hours and it takes you 10. We can only tell our own experience. My son has driven that many times and the times are never the same depending on the time of day and the # of accidents
