Dont keep the location of this real deal Pizza place all to yourself as i dont really enjoy the usual chain pizza places and am curious to try the real thing, as i envision a pizza to be dough, tomato sauce and various toppings i'm wondering how different the real thing can be....
I've Been to Guido's at Forest Oaks and 19., not bad but i didnt try their pizza..

I DM'ed you with 3 places. Yes, fresh dough, made in the store, freshly prepared tomato sauce, real mozzarella. Of course you can have one or more of several toppings. Don't expect to find pineapple as a topping in any of them. :-)

Guido's is good. It's more a Chicago style pizza. I like the way they cut it into little squares. Great for serving at parties.

i love giordanos pizza and i doubt the tampa location will close; the tampa location on dale mabry is always packed; then again let us remember that giordanos filed for chapter 11 way back in FEB and they were auctioned off to a private equity group earlier this month

even though i am a foodie and total food snob, i cannot resist that thick cheesy deep dish pizza no matter the price they charge! i would pay 40 bucks for it!

in fact, i wouldnt call giordanos deep dish pizza a pizza; its really more of a PIE, and it SHOULD cost more b/c it has slightly better ingredients and MORE ingredients than the cheap-o pizza many of you have mentioned

i am not saying giordanos is the best deep dish pizza i have had, but in tampa, it sure is.

in chicago, obviously not. but in tampa, yes.

(p.s., Cappys deep dish is HORRID)
