We are moving in late January from San Diego to Tampa. We are hoping to rent a 4 bedroom house with a pool in the Carollwood or Westchase area. We have 2 dogs and a cat that are very mellow and well behaved.

What's the best way to find a house in the $2000 or slightly more price range?

Call a Realtor, you should have no problem finding one.

You can search for privately owned rentals on the public-facing MLS website at Florida Homes for Sale direct from MLS. I did a quick search did not find any with all your options. You can also look on Craigslist but beware of scams - we've had some not nice incidents.

You might have difficulty finding a landlord that will accept your pets. In addition, most of the lots are small in Westchase so not many homes have the private pool you desire. There are however, two community pools in Westchase.

Zip codes for those areas are 33625 and 33624.
33625 Houses And Homes for Rent

You can see who handles rentals in the area

You might want to check out craigslist or TBO.com

Just be careful of scammers.

Thanks so much. The searching from 2500 miles away is getting a little frustrating for sure. I don't see many new listings at all on zillow or craigslist. We will keep trying!
