Can anyone tell me how the area around 46th Avenue North at 25th Street North is? I going to be looking at a house there and want to make sure it's a decent area to live. Thanks!!

Instead of just arriving at an area you are unfamiliar with and buying a house why not rent for a few months or a year so you can focus more on what suits you best.
Doing it the way you are doing it seems like an expensive crap shoot, what if you dont like the neighborhood or any of several reasons that may make you wish you had never bought the place.

Definitely should've stated that I was looking at a house to rent, not buy.

Definitely the smart way of doing it...
The area is kinda non descript. looks like a big trailer park at that intersection

I saw that, which kind of makes me hesitate a little bit. Not that there is anything wrong with trailer parks but sometimes they equate to not being the best of areas.

Isn't that Lealman, not St. Pete?

Yep, it's in Lealman, which isn't exactly a desirable area in most parts. St. Pete is just two blocks to the east.

That's a pretty white trash area... all you have to do is look at a map, if it's 5 blocks in either direction of an interstate highway, chances are, it's either the HOOD, or a white trash mecca
