There is not one single part of Tampa where you will find street after street of deserted, burned out homes. Nowhere.

There are several places in America that have totally burned out, gutted ghettoes. Detroit, Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinatti even Atlanta do.

I have never seen an area of Tampa that comes anywhere close to the worst parts of Detroit, and I know Detroit. Point me in that direction, and I'll check it out.

ghettos are ghettos. nobody said anything about burned out rows of houses.

there are plenty of sketchy, run down areas north of downtown that fit the bill.

Every major metro has ghettoes. You absolutely CAN NOT compare a place like Detroit or Baltimore's ghetto to Tampa's ghetto

Baltimore is MUCH worse than Tampa. Nebraska Ave would be one of the NICER areas of Baltimore. And Detroit is like the third world.

I can add places like East St. Louis, Toledo, Gary, IN and parts of Atlanta to that list like Bankhead.

Tampa may have it's rough parts, but it's not a burned out gutted war zone, at least not yet, and let's hope it does not come to that.

Nope. Not true. I guess you have to visit in order to get the idea.
