Hi! I usually check Bonavendi out. (www.bonavendi.com/sell/used.html) It's a free price comparison engine, works nation-wide and it comes handy to find out who would give you top dollar. Take a look and good luck!

I'd check out charities (IE: Goodwill) before donating. There are multiple homeless shelters that I'm sure would be incredibly grateful for your donation if you're just looking to get rid of them. If you're looking to make some money, I think Plato's Closet takes a lot of clothes.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize this was ANOTHER revived thread...

If you are willing to trade the DVDs instead of selling, try Trade Used Books with PaperBack Swap (the world's largest Book Club)

They have a book, a CD and a DVD section.

For clothes, there's a consignment online store, http://www.swap.com/

If you have children's clothes, go to Once Upon a Child. They buy a lot of stuff if it's in good condition.

Unless the DVD's are something unique, don't plan to get much. Fees on Amazon and Ebay usually take a significant junk of what you'll receive. Places that offer to buy your DVD's won't give you much either. For me, best option was to donate to Goodwill and get tax deduction.

If you have any valuable ones, listing them on Amazon is pretty easy! I just sold a used box set of James Brown CDs for $90...and it originally cost maybe $50/60 brand new?! Likewise for rare books. I've made about $400 on Amazon over the past four or five wks. Just type in the title, and it should tell you the going prices for new/used. Good luck!
