I think this summer is going to be wet and stormy. Just a gut feeling, I am not basing it on any science.

The Gulf should be warmer then usual at this time of year (haven't checked the temps) which I believe would fuel more tropical storms and hurricanes.

Last couple of years have been pretty dry around here. Mother nature seems to balance itself every once in awhile.

Loved this winter and hope next winter is the same.

This winter hasn't been bad, imo.

Just hope we don't get this tornado activity that the Midwest has been getting lately. That stuff looks scary and it seems like you're practically helpless in saving yourself from the storms - no basements to hide out in while the tornado passes.

No complaints by me about our weather - this is what I moved here for - gotta take the bad (hot/humid summers) with the good (nice winters).

What made winter warmer has nothing to do with summar weather. Two seasons that are affected by completely different facors. As of right now prediction is equally likely, meaning not too "hot" not too "cold". And these models are highly uncertain.

Its been warm up here in the north too. I just check our fifteen day forecast and we only have two days in the 30s, the rest are in the 50s. It is 52 degrees out and sunny right now. I have my window open to enjoy the fresh air.

Its a good 30 degrees warmer than usually for this time of year. When I left my house for work Monday morning it was 8 degrees. I am loving this winter.

BEST WINTER EVER!

I didnt read anywhere in that article where it infers that the warm winter just passed had anything to do with summer past or future.

I agree. A hotter than normal summer means less rainfall. Already had almost no rain last summer, don't need another dry summer. I do expect a super dry spring.

You won't have to worry about that this spring. With no upper level energy or support ya just can't get that kind of weather to pruduce a strong tornado.

As i have said since last summer, expect a super dry winter and spring.

You need lots of lift and upper level support to get tornados in our area, and i just don't see it coming this spring.
