Exotic Animal Vet in Brandon/Riverview (or w/in one hour...)
We have a 6-1/2 foot Iguana who is our pride and joy, along with our snakes and other scaled children. Who is the absolute BEST Exotic Vet in the Brandon/Riverview area? Even if we have to drive within an hour - that's OK too. Not looking for a regular vet - must have extreme knowledge and experience with reptiles. Not concerned about if they are expensive...all Vets that specialize in Exotic Animals are expensive. Thanks.

I can recommend our vet, Dr. Joel Murphy at the Animal Bird Medical Center. State of the art facility.He's been on TV, written books. His website is pethealing.org. I don't think I'm allowed to give a link.
He was Director of Exotic Animal and Bird Medicine at the University of Georgia Veterinary School and taught all of the exotic animal and bird classes to student veterinarians. Last edited by cariad; 09-15-2007 at 08:08 AM.
