Support groups in FL for EDs
I moved to FL just a couple of years ago. When I first got here, I looked high and low for support groups for Eating Disorders. I was very surprised to find there were few to none. Does any one know of any in the Tampa/St. Pete area?

211 is a number you dial in the county and they can give you referrals to social services. They basically have a directory of all services in Hillsborough County

I actually started a group when I first moved here because I couldn't find anything and I really enjoy facilitating it, but I think I'd like to have another group to pop into once in awhile to kind of 'focus on me' a bit.

I actually checked with my supervisor (a clinical psychologist who is very familar with services) and he said that there are few or no groups! That is horrible! I'll keep you posted if I find anything!
