Why Port Richey? It is hardly a happening place with a lot of retired folks. If you don't have a job I would NOT recommend you moving any place in FL. If you are planning on using public transportation to get to work you might want to read this

You should use the search function to read the countless threads on that area. I agree with the previous poster, don't move here unless you already have a job.

Port Richie? No beaches, heavy traffic,Suburban sprawl, not a target rich area for jobs, some seedy areas close to hwy19, public transportation is almost non existent..If you have a choice theres better areas in Florida to relocate.

I would stay well away. Most of PR is rundown hoods with small 2bedroom shoe boxes that are rented out to trash and plenty of drugs in the area. I can't think of a worse place to live.
