My husband might get a job in New Port Richey. We want to live in an area that has the best schools possible. Where are the best schools in your opinion?

Thank you for any help.

Trinity and East Lake (Palm Harbor) have great school systems, they are both close to New Port Richey and there are a lot of new and upcoming businesses/homes being built.

My daughter goes to SunLake (about 10 miles to the East of New Port Richey right off the 54) and really enjoys it. That opens up Trinity, Odessa, Lutz and Western Land O Lakes for a nice place to live as well. It's a wide open drive up there now but slowly building up around the Trinity area.

Nowhere near NPR is good schools in Pasco County. In Pinellas there are some like East Lake HS, etc. Try to avoid Tarpon Springs for schools.

This quote is incorrect. Brooker Creek Elementary has always been a very good school and very highly rated. Every heard of or driven through Wentworth? Based on your erroneous reply, you have not.

Brooker Creek Elementary is NOT, let me repeat NOT Tarpon Springs. It's East Lake... which I said is fine. Go re-read my post...

Those subdividsions you listed are also not in Tarpon Springs... but East Lake.

Quality of school in Florida is often determined by how high real estate prices where they are zoned. I'd start in Trinity and look at the data for those schools and then head south.

I've lived ~10 miles east of there for over 25 years. I would admit my error if I was wrong, but I'm not. The north end of County Road 611 aka East Lake Road is most definitely Tarpon Springs. See that big lake just to the west on the map? It's Lake TARPON! Please check your geography.
