Its not a listing of crime rate. It is the chance of being of being a victim. Some things are worse in Safety Harbor vs. Spring Hill, but I am sure you will be quite happy there.

Risk by definition is a probablistic number.

Can you tell me what those numbers mean? where did you get them, and how was calculated, just curious about what the numbers above 100 mean.

Rape Risk 111 87

Assault Risk 62 127

Good. Then you do understand why the past several years have been different. Perhaps it didnt reach up there to where you are.

Our millage rate is about .19 in Safety Harbor. I'm not sure if that's what you meant. The amount of tax we paid in Spring Hill is about $1500 annually. In Safety Harbor we will pay about $3000. It's twice as much, but I feel the area has twice as much to offer.

Spring Hill is WAY more affordable than Safety Harbor, but it's often the affordability that draws people who can't afford a more expensive area … and many of those types of people are the ones who behave in undesirable ways and bring the community down. I've just noticed that the more affordable my neighborhood has become, the more problems have moved in. An inexpensive area doesn't always equate to a great place to live.

Who cares how affordable it is if you are in such a horrid place full of carpetbaggers. If you cant afford a difference of $1500/yr which equates to about $120 per month, then maybe you should reconsider home ownership.

I spend more than that a month on ammo.
