My husband and I are checking out SafetyHarbor thus weekend and wondering if there are any places we should check out while in town? We will def be grabbing a bite to eat, so any suggestions are welcome.

Green Springs Bistro if you want the best. It's a little pricey, but soooo worth it!

Whistle Stop if you want a fun atmosphere and decent food.

Oldsmar is next to Safety Harbor. If you can come this way this restaurant is very, very popular:

Flamestone Grill

This restaurant has been around for years and years.. Nothing fancy but the food is good. The owners won the FL lottery years ago but kept the restaurant open.

It totally depends on what type of food you are looking. Good family style is " Paradise" on Main Street. A little mor upscale and very reasonably priced is at the Safty Harbor Spa. Believe it or not some tastly -healthy bites and good service. Parking can e the only hassle around town.

If you park in the downtown parking lot behind Crispers you should be OK. There are usually several spots open there and the good restaurants are within walking distance.

Definitely walk the pier by the marina at night - it's very romantic.
