Is it possible to buy a mobile home (with cash) right away after being foreclosed on? Not to finance, but to buy it outright.

YES.

If you have enough to buy the Mobile Home why did you get Foreclosed?

maybe the house wasn't worth what he owed on it. Maybe it was a strategic foreclosure

Maybe someone else owns the house and the OP is the renter.

Sure you can do, however, you need somewhere to park it. If you do not own the property the home is on, then you'll have to rent a spot. Parks require an application and most do a background and credit check, if you don't pass their critera then you will have to move the mobilehome.

Very good question! We hear it daily, people not able to come to the closing with any funds but asking for higher end rentals....isn't it great....and they have saved on paying their mortgage for months or even longer than one or 2 years!

Pretty much what I was thinking Bentlebee.

But I do want to thank all the others for posting opinions of what I asked of the OP.

I would be leary of buying something for cash after going through Foreclosure. The Banks have years to come after what was defaulted on. Will they? Hard to say. But if they do and you have an asset, I would expect that they will try and liquidate it.
