Posers everywhere around here.......

Columbia shorts, mandels, Guy Harvey (or Salt Life) T shirt, and a Salt Life sticker........

And NOT A CLUE on how to catch fish on a regular basis.

Not sure what you are implying with the salt life sticker and the poseur comments DBR but in the context of this topic most amateur weekend fishermen dont really need to actually catch huge fish in great quantities to have a good time fishing, most kids will be happy landing a dozen grunts or pin fish whereas most pier fishermen will be happy with a few 4-6lbers or not catching any fish at all and just enjoying the ambiance of being out in nature with the potential of catching a fish on the other end of the line.

I'm in the last category. Complete novice. Spent a 1-2 hrs out on a lake where I live, relaxing time.

Probably will head out to MacDill AFB and see what's available out at their marina/beach today.

I'm an avid golfer, and play a ton of tennis, follow the PGA very closely, along w/ football, baseball. Can't be an expert on all things - and I've noticed the sport of fishing is too much to learn to completely feel comfortable. Geez, you guys a have a thousand names for lures - as well as the variety of fish species - there's no way I'd want to learn all of that.

Might buy a Salt Life sticker and put it on my car bumper just to make the "expert" anglers angry.
