I refuse to shop at walmart. I honestly don't care if prices are lower (do your homework, they aren't always).

I'll shop at Publix, but really I prefer super Target...but that's the Minnesotan in me.

I guess I don't need anything at 6 am or after 10 pm... I don't remember last time I had an emergency to go and buy something at 6 am or 10 pm. I guess I am missing something.

Yep. I have come to a conclusion, which I would hope most others have as well.......by now.

this is exactly what I was talking about. Thinks like "walmart will match publix BOGO sales" will not attract people who are not shopping at walmart.

sorry if I offended anyone by saying the majority of people I see in walmart is a low class people (getto, white trash). At least in the store I've been for last 5 years. Each chain has their target customers and walmart will have a had time to attract publix costumers... most people like swmrbird and myself prefer to pay a little more and shop else where, but not at walmart

I got it, you got upset that I trashed your favorite store. I already apologized for that.
At the end of the day if you already shop at walmart, their special "we match Publix BOGO sales" will not effect you

But my point in the post was she first stated no one shops at Walmart and then followed it up with two posts stating Walmart is always busy. Which way is it? Her credibility is shot based on that. Not good, considering she works for the company. Hope for her sake they don't find out.

Well stated -

and wow, didn't realize she worked for them. Talk about disloyal.

Curious about what this statement means! What is it about Target that appeals to Minnesotans?

I was sorry to see Sweet Bay go, but we seldom shopped there. We like the deli and the bakery at Publix. Winn Dixie is a shadow of its former self, I agree that it should go away. I do not like shopping for groceries at Walmart--mostly for ideological and food quality/safety issues, perceived or real.
