Now that I am back to being employed and relocated to Tampa Bay, we want to set up some recurring monthly contributions to local charities. We typically do not like the national ones as much, as there is so much red tape and overhead, which uses up too much of the funds. In the last state, we preferred one of the local woman's shelters.

What are some good quality local charities and what are their main concentrations?

Thx

Oh don't worry. I won't. Those are exactly the types I want nothing to do with. An old employer all but "forced" us to make payroll contributions to UW. After discovering how badly the money was used, we stopped and decided to let the employer do whatever the heck they wanted. Instead, we reallocated those funds to other charities.

Does this particular one help them with their pregnancy or does it help them become not pregnant?
