Hi all,
This is my first thread on this forum.
I currently live in South Tampa and I am looking at buying a house in the area. I was wondering about what everyone thinks of the Port Tampa City area? I have been over there and looked at the area, but I was wondering if it is a good area to buy a house? Is it considered a good and safe area? Do any of you currently live there? If not, would you live there? I'd appreciate any opinions you may have.

I don't live there but I have always thought it to be a good anomaly in the South of Gandy area...by that, I mean the neighborhoods seem pretty clean, houses look decent and maintained, and I don't see riff raff in the streets. The only thing is that the area doesn't have much going on right within it- stores, restaurants, convenient stores, etc.

I currently live in South Tampa and I am looking at buying a house in the area. I was wondering about what everyone thinks of the Port Tampa City area? I have been over there and looked at the area, but I was wondering if it is a good area to buy a house? Is it considered a good and safe area? Do any of you currently live there? If not, would you live there? I'd appreciate any opinions you may have.
