Florida Legislature | Rental Property | Eviction

The bill, HB 77, would allow landlords to evict tenants who have paid partial rent if the balance is not quickly turned over, and if a person breaks rules twice in a year, including parking in the wrong place or having an unauthorized pet, according to the wire service.

The amended law would also give landlords the right to sue for both criminal and civil charges, according to a February Senate committee analysis

That will teach "professional tenants" a lesson!

If banks can prove they own the house and have their paperwork in order, there is no slow process to foreclosure.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your perspective, they cannot seem to do this.

In my case, it's been a little over 3 years.

No, no, deadbeat homeworkers should not be allowed to rent their homes while not paying their mortgages. Renters should be able to report these people, and get their money back. There is no excuse to extort renters either. It works both ways.

B, what do you call a "professional tenant"? I am asking because half of the population on Earth is a renter, and not an owner.

Well, I have a family member who has not paid her mortgage in FOUR years. She has the means, but refuses to pay, as she states why should I....I'm living for free. All the bank paperwork is proper. I know several other people who have done the same thing. Shameful. They should be thrown out on there rear ends, but there are way too many rules and regulations out there protecting deadbeats.
