Funny. I read the first two pages of this thread then skipped to the last page and I have no idea how the subject turned. HAHAHA.

I plan on putting a Salt Life sticker on our new ride. I think it's interesting how people have such a strong opinion on what people do with their own property.

I have a cowboy hat in the back of mine behind the seat. Think I'll hang a blacksnake up beside it.

The first Salt Life sticker I saw belongs to a neighbor. He's a retired Army Ranger. So it makes me laugh seeing all these internet tough guys talking smack about people having them.

Can't help but have huge respect for a military man, especially one with a Salt Life decal. If I was to be face to face with him, I would thank him for his service...as I do all military...and then tell him how happy I am that he is enjoying the Salt Life and proud to say so.

My reason for mentioning my neighbor was due the repeated comments that people get those stickers out of some kind of need to fit in to some kind of crowd because they are insecure, etc. I don't think he's the kind of person who is insecure and needs to try and impress anyone. I was just trying to point out the utter ridiculousness of the generalizations often made around here.

Let me explain 1 more time...........

Putting ANY sticker (including Salt Life) facing OUTWARD for everyone to see is MAKING A STATEMENT...

Which is fine.......

But don't get all butt-hurt when people see your stickers and have a reaction to them......

It's no different with those political stickers.....(Romney, Obama, ect).......

Do you really think people sitting behind you in traffic aren't commenting on them?.......please....

You make a statement with a sticker..........

I make a statement about your sticker.

Salt Life stickers are stupid and completely played out.
