Yes it absolutely is.......those things came out like 10 years ago- you would occasionally see them on a fishing guide's truck....or maybe at a dive shop

Then, 10yrs later.....they're on every other vehicle you see around here

Following the crowd.

And how many other vehicles do you see in a day with a Vans sticker on them?........

Probably none I'm guessing........

Which makes your sticker 1,000,000 times cooler than a "salt life" sticker.

Fact.

I was going to say, how many people drive around with any of these "stickers" on their cars...

Just trying to fit in I suppose...

All good.

But a "Salt Life" sticker with a Marlin (or other fish) that you wouldn't have a clue how to catch on it is different.....

I have watched (in disgust) the explosion of "salt life" stickers and clothing in this area for better than a decade now...

Like I said, it started with people who actually lived a "salt life" so to speak.......

Now, they're on every soccer mom's car, and that plainly illustrates the absolute need of these people to "fit in" and "follow the leader"

If a person puts the sticker on their car and are driving around out in public......than I'm going to have an opinion on their "statement" one way or the other....

And my opinion is : Salt life (or any of the other "life" stickers) = Dork Life.
You've given this much thought I see...

LOL! I used to think it said "Silt Life", as the narrow "A" looked like an "I" from a distance. Then I figured out it said Salt Life and didn't know for the longest time that it was a brand. I had thought it was only for people's expression of love for the gulf waters area......which I think it is the reason why so many of us love the decals. I don't think people much care whether or not it is a brand or not. I know I certainly don't. I know they sell 24" decals and am thinking about putting one on my garage door.
