Not too concerned about that, as it is already happening.......unfortunately.

No politics here. If you wish to talk about it go to the politics forum.

How can we not talk politics when the thread is about an elected government official giving out something for free?

They should have given that money to the schools!

I look forward in seeing all the people flocking for wifi in 90+ degrees or during downpours!

I didn't know the homeless have computers! Hmmm interesting! I gathered they were giving the wifi signal not offer computers too! However, now that you mentioned it I also look forward in seeing folks enjoying the internet in 90+ degrees AND have the homeless look over their shoulder! That's is just "awesome!"

In reality, it wouldn't take much to panhandle on the streets for a couple hours and buy one of those $250 google laptops..

So are you saying you are not happy with Tampa Mayor Buckhorn?

Are you aware the governor just signed legislation to provide more money to the schools and give teachers raises, as you said should be done? You must be happy with the governor then....correct?

I think Annie is referring to things such as bringing in national politics, Obama and such into the mix. Probably not referring to the local issues with this decision by our local politician.

Just a guess on that, but Annie is extremely careful and fair. Would finish at the top in a Mod vote....which may not be a bad contest for City Data to add. $500 for Annie.
