Hi everyone,
We live in Dunedin - my brother-in-law and his fiance are coming to the area to get married. They want to get married on the beach. It will just be the two of them, my husband and me. I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to proceed:
1) Which beach is the best for a simple wedding (no bells and whistles - they really just need a beach and a person to perform the ceremony)
2) Any laws/rules about getting married on the beach
3) Recommended justice of the peace, clerk, notary public?
4) Any other suggestions for making it super simple and inexpensive?

Thank you!!

St Pete Beach, there's a park/beach access between 67th and 70th Avenue(right next to Blind Pass/Caprice Resort). A friend of mine got married there years ago. Oyster Shucker, Woody's, PJ's are some restaurants nearby. Can't answer the rest of questions, you'd have to do some research.

I've seen beach setups on Honeymoon Island, simple stuff--chairs, an arch so the couple can have their backs to the water. I would suspect that they might be able to arrange something for you, although if it's that small perhaps just a license fee, don't know. I'm sure this would be too much for you:

Florida Beach Wedding Honeymoon Island, Dunedin Florida

but it might be a start.

I also know that the Hilton on Clearwater Beach will do weddings, but I suspect it would be too fancy and expensive for your needs (but worth asking I guess.)
