It appears that between 1950-1980, the population exploded, but from the 1990's-current times, the population has staggered to a much lower pace. I assume it has to do with the limited space on the peninsula..

I believe they are going up now to fit more people in. No wait. Those are just one stories the rich people are buying to demolish and put up their multi-million dollar mansions on the water........seriously.

I figured that eventually they would have to start demolishing and building up in Pinellas to account for more population..
