Every time I drive from work I pass by the Palmetto Beach area in Tampa. I noticed how beat up alot of the homes are and its very unfortunate. The area has the bay next to it and I see alot of potential. Am I the only one feeling this way? The area looks like it has alot of potential but I don't see anything happening anythime soon. This is just a random thought I had.

Everywhere can't and probably shouldn't become filled with condos, docks, and expensive SF homes and gold courses.

Eventually it may become gentrified, you see this all over, when the space runs out
particularly where there is (decent) water

I have this thought any time I pass by many many other neighborhoods in Tampa Bay. Like the USF area, East Tampa, Town n Country, Pinellas Park and hundreds if not thousands of others.

TNC was bad in the 60's and only Danashores was the high class hood around. But TNC really went downhill in the 90's and even worse today.

Its very industrialized being next to the port. Large petroleum depot across the street. Huge garbage transfer site close near by as well. Rush hour traffic at the 22nd st/ selmon expressway/ adamo dr would not be for the faint of heart.
