I am in my late/mid twenties and I live downtown. Downtown is where all the young crowd hangs out, plenty of bars and eateries. You want to live as close to downtown as possible.

You have several options to get with the younger crowd:

1. Downtown St. Pete, Tampa, or even Clearwater (a lot of transients).

2. Near a USF campus, which is also nice considering USF St. Pete is downtown St. Pete.

3. Live near Jannus Landing (or Live) in St. Pete...not sure about apts down there but the night life is pretty good.

Good luck

Its hard to find them in St Pete now too. This place is snob central or its lowlife central. No inbetween, nothing normal really. S Howard isn't the only destination like this is what I am trying to say. I still would avoid any city or area known for being on the "upswing" or "trendy".. these code words do not interest me in my search for the right area I know that. People say they're bored in Palm Harbor or bored somewhere on the outskirts, but you can be bored in St Pete too if it grows old fast and it can.
