street addresses would be useful - Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater has a lot of territory and many of these places have no website to search for.

I keep hearing great things about Fred's Market off of US 301/Bloomingdale. Hate to tell anyone because I hate fighting crowds -

Fred's Market

The Fusion Asian buffet is outstanding, imo, Apollo Beach in the Sweetbay Plaza. $7 lunch. Nice interior, good food.

Ooh another one: Pach's Place on Bay to Bay. Cheap, huge portions. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends, but the food has been good when I've gone and the staff is super nice.

GoGos Greek Grill Tampa on Kennedy near West Shore Drive.
Taco Bus
Can hardly wait to try some of these.

Been here five years and boy it's so hard to find good food. Too many chains. We have been learning to make better food at home instead but it's nice to get good food at good prices.

tiny have you ever had the bread from La Segunda? I think they supply the bread for many restaurants - it has the leaf in the middle, but years ago, I though it didn't taste quite the same as when I was a kid - here is website with pic:
