I remember seeing an old red brick building. It was about 2 stories high and had a lot of windows. This was around 1998. It reminds me of the old Tarpon Springs High School that is still there. I read an article back then that it may have been used as an orphanage at some time. maybe it was also the elementary school. Does anyone know if it is still there or is it gone?

Looks a lot bigger then I remember. Do you know if there were parking spaces around the sides and in the back. I remember driving through the parking lot. it wasn't very big. For some reason I don't recall seeing water. Do you have any more pictures of the manor. I have never seen one in color like this.

bobisinthehouse, the building you are looking for has been demolished.

This is a picture of a country club in England, not Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Ok, but it is closer to what I am looking for. I think the red brick building was or may have been torn down to build another building. inside Tarpon.

The first picture I posted was Ardencote Manor which came up when I was looking for pictures of Anclote Manor. This I believe is Anclote, but it is still gone.

I worked there from 1986-89 when it was Anclote Manor Hospital. I believe prior to it being a psychiatric hospital, it was a resort of some type. Yes, it was quite a large building and there was parking both in front of as well as o the side of the building. I believe the hospital closed not long after I left my employment there and, at some point, was eventually demolished. Been many years since I've been in the area but have heard there are now townhomes on the property.

Do you remember it being a red brick building? It is hard to tell with the Black and White picture above.
