If Your lawn water is the same as your faucet water that is WHY your water bill is that high. Stop watering the lawn in the summer months when to rains at 4pm every day.

Our water bill is around $60
Our highest electric so far was $257 (2000sqf house+2 fridges, and various electronics)

hahahahahahahahahahahahah LMAO

Thanks!
Yeah that is crazy high for that size house. I dont know if its the same in dunedin, but in brandon our water meters are near the street in the dirt. there's a slab that covers the meter in the dirt - if you ask your neighbors where theirs are located, that should give you an indication where to look for yours.

Our water bill has never been higher than 35 in any given month for 2 adults 1 child. Try turning off any running water and if you see your meter still going, that indicates a leak somewhere.

We don't have sprinklers and don't water the lawn.

They do tend to happen more often in hot water lines. You might need a company like "Sleuth" who come out and detect where your leak is (if you are on a slab). It could be in a wall, too.

Good luck!
Yes or contact American Leak Detection. I would call asap. You don't want to deal with mold issues; especially if the leak is inside of a wall.

I'm selling a property in Palm Harbor, a beautiful 3518 sqft salt water pool home and the owner paid in total for 2012 $ 2835.- for the entire year for his power bill. Two story home!

But they remodeled the home with a new tile roof, energy saving appliances, energy saving windows and doors and even charging his electric car is incl. in this utility bill.

TECO does not serve Dunedin.

*shrug* Most electric companies will still do the assessment. I have no idea who covers what area.

I would also guess that the AC unit is very old and inefficient. That could be $50-100 a month of the summer bill.
