Absolutely. Good advice.

I used to own a waterfront home on Jennita Dr in 2003. I sold it in 2005 for a good profit. My insurance then was 1200 a year. In 2010 I went back to buy again for a lot less on the house but didn't due to 4500 a year insurance. I told the realtor even though I didn't have to buy the insurance most people I would resale to would have to and that would be to high for them. That is before the flood increases coming down the pike now. Sink holes and floods have all happened in this area. I would pick a different area to buy.

If the OP pays cash and goes bare he or she can get a hell of a deal in about a year when these homes really start to sell for nothing. Soon someone can buy out a whole street for much of nothing.
