My father lives in Texas and is considering to relocate to Tampa where I live. He is in his '80's and has minimal physical issues. He is looking for a Studio or 1 b/1b apt or housing that offers handicap/step-in shower verses a tub. He is on a minimal income and would probably need as many utilities included as possible. He doesn't care about a gym or other frills, but a nice senior community to live in out his years as he gets older. He also prefers ground level and a parking space. He wants to live as close to me as possible (near as possible to 33618) and/or within close driving distance to the VA Hospital. Please contact me and let me know if you have any leads or suggestion how to find him a place to live. (I wish he would live with me, but he doesn't want to be a "burden") If you know any connection with City of Tampa too, that would be most appreciated.
I recently lost my mother in Texas, and I would really like to have my dad near me so that I can look over him and be near him as he ages and has needs for future assistance.
Thank you for any help that you may provide. - Daughter concerned about her Dad

For least expensive there are some very good mobile home parks in some good areas- but nothing that close to VA... around there is not soo good, just a thought- Sorry bout your mom, and I know you will find something for your dad.

There are CONDO's and nice apartments right in the Carrolwood area. I am not sure what your budget is, but Arbors at Carrolwood apartments and townhomes at Carrolwood Pines are less than 1000 a month.

I don't do rentals, but since your Father is a Veteran I will help anyway that I can. There is no charge and no money to be made, but as a Veteran (that happens to be disabled) it would be my pleasure to help your Dad. Send a direct message if you need anything specific. Thanks.

What is the budget for an apt? If you clarify this, more ppl could make some suggestions.
