Its a fools tax. You make the decision to pay it or not. I wish all taxes were as simple.
FL and other states that are finally realizing stupidity has no bounds when it comes to driving are going to see all the stuff they can do with this endless supply of cash and keep putting them up. This is great! Who knows, fools who cant drive might actually make raising home taxes for schools and other shortfalls a thing of the past if these dopes keep tithing ticket money to their counties.
Heres to cameras and hopefully thousands more to come

But what if a road is wet and you're kinda in that area where you can't decide if you should stop or go? Are you willing to risk a collision from the rear because roads were wet or are you going to risk getting a red light ticket?
Today was a great day for example - it was raining all morning. The road was wet. When it's raining and the road is wet I keep my speed lower than usual which allows me to stop without turning my car around.
Maybe some people cannot see the signal light from certain distance? I can and have enough time to stop I have one habit - not to drive through yellow though...

Tampians are fools for allowing these extortion rackets to exist. The main goal is to have government force citizens to pay a private entity.

You can say "dont run the red light and you wont get a ticket" but the fact remains that only a SELECT private entity is allowed to collect payment for catching you in the act. It's not like I can set up a video camera and catch you and then have the government make your life miserable if you dont pay me. Nope, that won't happen unless I wine and dine the right politicians.

I have an even better solution. Your car will have an automatic speed limiter built into it. A GPS system will detect what street your on, what the speed limit is on that street, and make that the maximum speed your car will go. I should take this idea to Shark Tank.

Think how much fuel will be saved...Remember the 55 mile an hour fiasco. Saved fuel and made a ton a money for those rural folk.

Nope, nowadays it's called networking. Know, like, trust, and cash kinda thing.

Example: Citizens Insurance is only recommending 3 Co's for their insurance Inspections. In turn A declaratory statement by DPBR makes it legal to accept kickbacks from insurance agents. Kinda makes you go Hmmmmm.

The only problem with that are people called lobbyists. The car industry has deep pockets.

Is it also a "conspiracy" that the driving exam here is a major joke?

What about the loss of common sense? is that a freedom' side effect?

The more you all continue to vote for these clown the more of this crap we're all going to have to swallow! If you don't like it, change it. Countries in much worst shape than us changed it when it became absurd to live!

How about this conspiracy: the articles above were written by people who got tickets for running red lights; sounds good?

UNLESS, (huge unless), there is someone behind you who is not looking like he's going to stop at the light, nobody is stopping you from stopping at a red light but YOU.

This thread is absolutely ridiculous; we're arguing about something that's been a law since cars became popular; nobody in Australia is wasting time arguing such silly subjects!
