It is better than Whole Paycheck if you ask me or my wife, but Whole Paycheck is good, as is Fresh Market.

I've eaten there a few times, but go there for takeout all the time. I'm going to need a new go-to spot for takeout. Ringside is much more concert venue than anything else, but should get better acts in the new (bigger) location. I will say, with Ringside and that old barber shop going, the block will look nicer from the street. But, man, I'm going to miss Casita.

Trader Joe's isn't like Whole Foods. It's a discount store that sells mostly off-brand stuff. Limited perishables (produce, meat, cheese, etc.) at the ones I've visited. The chain is owned by the same people who own Aldi.

I realized how little Trader Joe's has in the way of prepared foods when I went in one recently when on a business trip looking for dinner I could eat at my hotel. Basically, nothing.

However, I did get a really good frozen Saag (Indian cuisine) meal for just a couple of bucks that I was able to nuke in my hotel room. Nice to pocket the rest of my per diem rather than blowing it while dining alone at some overpriced restaurant somewhere
