Lots going on this weekend in Tampa/STP. Book of Mormon is in town. The FLA Orchestra has an outstanding "Lets Dance" performance (American Idol Michael Lynche is signing with the orchestra), the Bucs play the Falcons, and USF Bulls are playing Saturday night. International car show is here this coming week. Not sure how anyone could complain that there's nothing to do here.

I agree. I just don't get it when people complain about that.

Can't recommend Book of Mormon. If you haven't seen it, watch this from the Tonys - the best song.

Not "welcome to life"! When we visited Europe, Australia, Japan etc, we never had issues affording to see anything.

Events are inflated in price here because Florida is known to be a vacation state, so rip the tourists off...there should be resident discounts for all these events too. It is not "OK" to assume that someone making $15k a year should not be able to see any of these events. This is a rip off. If it is $95 per person...and you have 4 people in your family that's $380 for one event for a couple of hours. How is this affordable?
