For Tampa there really isn't a peak season, St Pete maybe for snowbird season, which is in the fall, Oct thru March/April.

Default Looking to move to Tampa area

Hi All
My wife and I are looking to move to the Tampa bay area, I know this is a large area, but we are looking to buy in the $250000.00 range, and want to be as close to the water as possible. But, we are still a little apprehensive about hurricanes., so we are hoping we can find the best area for a newer home/condo, that we can get insurance for a reasonable price, but also be near the water. Any help would be appreiciated.

Thanks

The biggest issue is exactly where do you want to live? On the gulf or the bay?

Assuming you meant $2.5 mil.. you should have no problem finding a place to live.
