one night only
hi i need a place to stay for just one night and need to come back home next morning, im taking the train to tampa im going to the u2 concert in raymond james stadium and i was looking at this place at ola ave by the cemetary pretty cheap but then i read some posts about certain area codes and now im concernd, if somebody could help me with this topic i would be gratefull, thanks....

I am thinking about going to Florida to attend college can someone inform me about the crime rates in the following areas? : University of Tampa and University of Southern Florida. Also can anyone tell me more about the schools? Education level, parties, environment, dorming etcc..

.. will stay in Trinity area, if I can just find a beach near by, what about a green key bech ? - no one mentions it.. is it good, safe ?

Green Key is alright. It used to be really bad with a lot of weirdos loitering in the bushes and exposing themselves, blah blah. It seems to have cleaned up as of late.
The better beaches are down in Dunedin and Clearwater, of course.
If you go to Green Key, make sure your car doors are locked and all your valuables are out of sight. Cars get broken into all the time there.

WHat do you want to do, beach or city? For city I recommend downtown Tampa, Marriott Waterside or Embassy Suites downtown Tampa. Aquarium, Channelside Entertainment(Splitsville Bowling/Movies/IMAX), Ybor City(Game Works/Movies/Funcky Shops) - Hyde Park Village shopping and lunch, Internaitonal Plaza/Bay Street - more shopping.eating; Lowry Park Zoo; Busch Gardens -all would be central to downtown Tampa. |
