Everything is relative. I just don't like people dissing an entire county(LOL is well.. a town, not a county). I can't accept that the entire county is weathered, tired and old. There's desirable and less desirable areas. Old NorthEast, Snell Isle, BellAir/Bluffs, parts of Seminole/West Largo, Boca Ciega, South Pasadena, Palm Harbor, Countryside, Safety Harbor/Oldsmar, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs(beautiful areas by Howard Park), are probably just as desirable as LOL and right next to the water. Did he/she check all these? And I won't get into the beaches (from Tierra Verde up to North CLW beach)..those are on a different level.

Spring Hill is close to Crystal river (a plus for me).
Well I lived in the UK so I wouldnt describe St Pete as old...hardly but I guess compared to Wesley Chapel or Trinity it is old. I had LOTS more older ppl as neihgbors in St Pete than I do in LOL or WC.
Where we live we have a lovely pool with hot tub and a view of a lake and woods behind us with daily visits from deer. So it depends what you like surrounding you. I never had this kind of view in St Pete.

I don't have an issue with both places, even though I prefer living close to the beach. I have an issue with people thinking their reality is better than everyone else's.

Where you chose to live is sooo subjective...the OP would really have to look around in each...both areas have good points and bad...the right place to live is what's best for their set of circumstances...

This is a pretty good description that I second

Wesley chapel just had a 34 million dollar MLB stadium and 9 fields approved. The outlet mall is on its way to be build over there as well. A few years back Wiregrass Mall was build and Wesley Chapel has the biggest intersection of Florida so I don't agree with a cow remark that much. Yes there are cows but isn't it nice to have a combination of both, but if you make it look like some rural community than you are wrong. That fits Zephyrhills more or Dade city and not Wesley Chapel so much aside from the border lines of. Wesley Chapel near Dade City or Zephyrhills. People who read this forum and never have been here will not see how these remarks were meant unless the writer of these posts hasn't been in Wesley Chapel for the last couple of years, as I have friends who are shocked how much it has changed for the better over the last 5 years and it is a booming area.

It is a growing area with lots of great communities and mostly homes build in 2002 and later with most homes build during the housing booming.

It is very close to Tampa and aside from rush hour I get from. Wesley Chapel to the airport in 30 min. It is also convenient located close to I-75 to have easy access to go any where North or South and many ways to take a short cut to Orlando if needed.

Wow, it sure is growing around here. We are off of Wesley Chapel Blvd and have lived here for a year and there has been so much change around here in that year. We are relocating and I bet that in five years we wont recognize this area if we were to come back for a visit.
