The Police knows who was driving the vehicle, but they are not saying at this time. According to Bay News 9 news reports, first they said the driver was a male in his early 20's. And they reported the police know who the vehicle belongs to, but are trying to see if that person was driving.... WELL if the person is now missing or gone, most likely that person was driving the vehicle.

Very strange that the police won't give out the info on the person driving.

I thought I heard that too but I was thinking that I was losing it when the story changed....are they protecting someone or was the reporting wrong?

Who knows? Maybe the suicide car had another passenger? Hopefully not.

....

In all reality though, since the video game grand theft auto 5 has been released we are seeing more young people commit crimes that mimick this game such as "the knockout game" and now this incident....correlation?

I think we would have learned that by now...but it could be true.

If the car was stolen it could have been known by now too unless they aren't completely sure.

This morning one of my family members gave me an article about certain prescription drugs since they expect someone at work to be using it since that person fainted, has shaking issues and is talking all the time about certain pills and reading the article it is shocking to me what certain drugs can do and how easily they can become an addiction. It also stated that you can fall asleep at almost any time while using them and than to think that some young people use pills like that combined with alcohol....scary.

Again we have no clue but to go the wrong way on the interstate is not easy and you have to be totally out of it to do so.....

On some streets it is very weird how the street will go if you are not common in the area as I had the other day where I took a left and other right the street is one lane for each direction but if you take a left it is 2 lanes each ways so easier to go wrong and if you don't see the one sign showing that than you can go wrong.

There was no other traffic and I noticed it before I went the wrong way but I had a passenger with me and we both were "how stupid and how can anyone have come up with this dumb way" and how often have people gone wrong....

I don't know if there's anything left to give. I thought I read the SUV burst into flames, and the driver burned up, extra crispy. Seems it would be difficult to test blood and do toxicology test if all that is left is ash and bone.

So what can you do to protect yourself from this sort of freak thing? Probably nothing, really - stick to the right side of the road? You figure if it's your turn to go, it's your turn? So lately, I've been extra cautious of my surroundings while in movie (oldtimers and mass murderers with guns) theaters.....now I have to worry about getting in a head on collision while driving around town? I think I'm going to go insane when leaving the house. Anybody got a xanax?
