Looking forward to seeing the Bucs on the field. I have a feeling I will want to watch more games this year.

Your not going to win a super bowl without a franchise QB.

They could have picked a receiver in 2-4 and had the same impact. I am just hoping he is not a product of the system.
You couldnt pick a Mike Evans type receiver in the second round. You could however pick a Carr, Tampa's own Aaron Murray, Garapalo in the second/third round. Its pick your poison, Evans is a safer pick than Manziel.

I was hoping they would pick Manziel....simply for entertainment factor. With that said, picking Evans was a must. Having him and VJ as 1 and 2 receivers is going to be great. I know I am in the minority here, but I think Glennon is a good QB. He's smart, he is eager and I think he has a determination to show everyone they're wrong about him. So what, Glennon was a second round pick. There are a lot of great quarterbacks in the league that were 2nd round or lower picks.

I really want to see this kid succeed.

Yep. Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. 5 Superbowls, winning 3 of them, plus many NFL records later....I'd say real talent and understanding are far more important than where in the draft one is selected.

The Bucs won a Super Bowl with Brad Johnson. Not what I'd call a franchise QB.

OK, Yes it happens........

For a team that has been below average for a loooong time. They need the stability of a franchise QB.

They just might like a QB they know will be available in later rounds. There are some good options.

I like the GM, Love the coaching staff....It's time to find a leader on the field.

VERY good point. I hope I am wrong. He looks like he is going to be a good #2.

I was surprised to see a RB drafted 3rd round. Thought RB was a strength of the team, but this guy Sims gets lots of props from people "in the know".

Woah, how about that? The Bucs only drafted offensive players. Pretty amazing since this very rarely happens in addition to Lovie Smith a defensive minded head coach being in place.

Go BUCS! I might have to talk my wife into using my bonus in for Season tickets.

I think most of the games will be on the HDTV - don't bother. Too damn hot out there. I've been buying season tickets for the last 4-5 seasons because I've got nothing to do. But the value isn't there. I can imagine a lot of things a family of four could do for the entire year for what tickets cost.
