Ok- finally got my PC on and found a pretty nice 4 bed house for $1200 south Clermont, The g-kids are ecstatic as the back yard is a huge open hilly area with some trees and lots and lots of kids to play with... and I have already met 5 neighbors and have not been here a week. AMAZING... they actually have walked over 3 houses down and said welcome etc etc. I think I will be very happy here. One neighbor has some BBQ partes and they others neighbors say everybody makes a nice night of it.
Traffic has been very smooth - driving to work at 8 am takes an hour- but have made it in 38 min to the area above the airport,,, NOT bad, all highway makes it better. Best of all my sinuses are back to normal.
Can't wait a few more weeks to hit the beaches at Cocoa,,, heard lots of free parking! Missing you all but not really Tbay.

yea I will, although still have interests in a few lingering forums.. one thing I felt though- it seems to me a lot of folks moving more to Tampa than Orlando-- but that may be that I am in the outskirts of Orlando? Saw a lot of empty apts. as we cleared my sons own? and I had a horrible time getting Uhaul truck in Tampa, even though I reserved it 3 weeks early...?
Anyhow I hope the best for you all/ it has been a pleasure chatting/

Yep, it seems I am seeing "I am moving or about to move to Tampa, where should I live" thread everyday. Perhaps it is the nasty weather up there that drive people interest this time or perhaps we may be turning for good to the growth explosion of less than a decade ago. There is still lots of pasture land in Pasco County specially along HWY 54 to accommodate that. Bring it on!

Good luck in your new place!

Yes but they better buy the Mars like lot next to them so they can build a helipad because that 3 hour commute to downtown Tampa and 5 hours to the beach is a killer!

Yes, well thankfully there's still the St Pete/Clearwater area for those that move to Florida for beaches rather than cow patties.

I think.. this is just a thought- that they see Miami and Orlando more as tourist and Latinos?
and Tampa as laid back family living ?
