This weather is playing my song with 50mph gust and heavy rain.

Up here we had 60+ mph, heavy rains, took out canopies. Problem was it dropped to freezing. AGAIN. Can't wait to get the move done.

Very much enjoyed the elevated dew points, strong winds off the gulf, the heavy rains and thunder storms. This type of weather is one of the reasons why we moved here.

Nah. 78 degrees here today, mostly sunny with 5% humidity, not the slightest hint of sweating. Dropping down to a nice 50 degrees tonight. Now that's perfect.

Went back to Ohio this past weekend for a wedding, and it made me realize how good we got it here. The fact that everything just looked dead and the frigid cold and snow was not something i missed at all. Even though its a cloudy rainy day here today, i'll take it over being back up there anyday!

It's just SO depressing not being able to do anything outdoors without freezing.

It's interesting though (and not knocking anyone who feels differently than you or I) how much the weather can effect some and not others. I know plenty of people here who love the winters, while others tolerate it. And then there's me...I can't tell you how much it bothers me but I'm sure you know. Ever think that some of us are simply just misplaced in where we grew up? For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to live in a warm, coastal area and that's when I was a young child not knowing anything about the south (or west coast). It just felt that I was always meant to live somewhere else. Weird.
