My 28 year old daughter is moving to Tampa this summer. She will be working at a North Tampa street Accounting firm. I am Seeking Advice on safe neighborhoods for single professional woman.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks

Lot's of decent places/areas in North Tampa. Could you be a little more specific about where she would be working. Not the exact location, but a comment like within a couple miles from Bruce B. Downs and I-75 intersection.

It would allow people to focus more on where her commute would be decent.

That road runs along south Tampa, downtown Tampa, east Tampa and ends in Brandon.

It sounds like she'll be working downtown. If her budget allows, or if she's open to living with roommates, I would look at the downtown options in Channelside or Harbor Island. There are a lot of young professionals living in those areas, and while it's not the most exciting downtown area, there are enough bars and restaurants and events for entertainment.

Her commute would be negligible, and with Tampa construction and traffic congestion, that would be a huge factor in my book. As far as safety, I don't think downtown is any less safe than other surrounding areas - in fact, it might be safer.
