I hope to be starting my new job in Pinellas County the middle of next month. I currently live in WV and will be moving to the area. The problem is I can't find housing that will accept a 60 pound lab and the places I can afford only accept pets that are not over 40 pounds. Can anyone give me any advice. My dog is old and fat. When we adopted our son he played a huge role in helping my son learn to bond and I cannot see getting rid of him. Any advice would be appreciated. BTW, we cannot afford more than $1000.00 to $1200.00/month. I would like my children to be in the Palm Harbor school area.

Some things you may have to change.

If you can't find what you are looking for, look a little bit North along HWY 19. Even if you go as far as Tarpon Springs or Holiday something will open up. There are trailer parks around there as well, have you viewed them? And this is Florida, there really are some extremely nice trailer parks. Don't think run down and terrible ... but yes, we have them too!

Understand you want to be in Palm Harbor school area, but if you can't find what you need to live there, that may not be an option right now. You can always request your kids go to school there from where you live, but you'll have to get them to it everyday.

Can you post your bed/bath requirements? Do you want a house or an apartment? We can help you look.

I need a 3 bedroom. I would prefer a house but will also take an apartment. I don't care how many bathrooms.
Thanks!

Any areas other than Palm Harbor? You have a very low budget for a pricey area. It is not so much the dog as the price range and the fact that there is very little for rent in Palm Harbor.
