I will be living near south st pete or on the east side near the downtown area of st pete. I will be driving each morning to work which is near carrollwood area of tampa.

What is the normal daily commute in the morning and afternoon taking into account work rush hour traffic? i would be taking 275 to Memorial Highway.

thank you

Carrolwood and that Veterans Exp corridor is just a lot of volume during the peak hours, so thats one thing, then the Howard Franklan (i275) into Tampa from 730-900 can be 35min to an hour and a lot of that back up is due to people lining up for the veterans exit. It will be a lot lighter in the summer once school is out and the worst during snowbird season. You should explore detouring north to the courtney causeway sometimes its faster to go around since you are going north anyway.

thank you for your advice. Maybe I can just leave earlier to beat the majority of the traffic getting into Tampa from St. Pete. Like 7am.
