Well according to that price sheet, it says a 100 lb item would cost $6 (and change) plus the 5 dollar scale fee.

Edit to add: we had once priced out on Thumbtack.com what someone would charge to haul it away and we got quotes of 100+ for just the couch, it was absurd. My neighbor has a truck (and is always super willing to help us and others, we have a close knit neighborhood), so i know he wouldnt have an issue hauling it for us. The lithia dump is only about 15 mins down the street.

You know you can print the tax bill from the county website with only the address, since I am assuming that you have a license with the same address that's all you need, I been there twice they didn't even look at it, the guy asked I pulled out the paper he waived me off

My license has the current address, but my husband (the one who would be going with the neighbor to help haul the stuff off the truck) does not have the current address on his license. His license is Texas since that's where he's legally a resident (due to the military). :/ Worth a try i suppose.
