I definitely enjoy watching football more than baseball, but I like baseball too, and going to games. Wife and I took our 4mo old last night for the first time and it's simply incredible how much more family friendly Rays games are than any other sporting event in the area. We had the collapsible stroller, wife had her diaper bag and all the accessories, I had a back pack with my tablet, DSLR camera, bunch of milk, bottles, blanket, toys, etc. and did they hassle us over it? No, they gave our daughter a Rays soccer scarf, my first Rays game button and a toy. Even other fans were nice to us, as we know hauling all our stuff around is a bit of an inconvenience to everyone.

Of course when Price throws 12 k's and we still lose, not much I can do about that lol.

Thanks for the report.....they're pretty nice when there's only 10k fans in the stadium - they have overkill with security and guest assisting people......enjoy Price as much as you can as there will be few days left that he's a Ray. I think the Trop is underappreciated. Price per tickets aren't nearly as bad as the other teams in the league and they allow food/water/snacks to be brought in if you can't afford the $9 beers, $5 ice cream cups, $4 cotton candy, and all the other overpriced food. Today they have the O'Jays concert after the game....

The trop is a perfectly comfortable and acceptable environment to watch baseball. Anyone who says it's a dump has clearly never been there. Yeah, it's no PNC Park, but in this weather, honestly, it's nice to go somewhere to watch baseball knowing you won't get rained out, and you'll be comfortable.
