Do you think they do? Be real. There is a huge difference between every day life and a vacation.

The commercials are concentrating on the tourist, the visitor, not the person who intends to relocate.

Do you think FL is the only place people relocate to?

Helps explains our outrageous transient population and lack of respect for each other. People arent from here and they dont care if they move back or not. Dont care if they litter, or make FL a nicer place, they just want a "piece of paradise" for themselves.

You sound like a bitter man. It's a risk to make a better life for me and my family. You are just very negative. I don't see it as paradise I see it as a place where I can take what I do for a living and succeed. Sorry it bothers you that your little paradise is getting taking over by more people and growing n growing

I always wonder if there is a single person here who reversed their decision (decided not to come or vice versa) based on what they read here. I think people come here with predefined notion and are looking for some support of their view in either direction. So not sure why some are so worked up here to convince others against their decision.

I say go for it. Almost everybody has a pool down there. You should be able to make a good living as a pool tech.

Some of these ppl's idea of living day to day here simply doesn't match reality. It's hard to support illusions based on TV ads! Why should we always say: "yes, move down, crowd us some more, 19million people is not enough, let's move all of the US/World to Florida, and see if we can sink in the ocean!"

We're "Crowds R Us" already....go to Phoenix....occupy Cuba...build your own islands...

You know what's "funny",(Not), and insanely annoying? This thread:
Florida drivers... grr...

Tourists from "up north" complaining about the traffic their neighbors created down here?!
Double Standard!
