I just put my place here in Maine up for sale and am looking at moving when it sells to the Tampa Bay area. I am semi retired and on a pretty fixed income. it's just me and my golden. I have been looking at mobile homes in 55+ communities and wondered why the lot rents vary so widely. I also have been looking at Mobile homes on their own lots. Aside from property taxes, are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?
Any hints and suggestions are appreciated!

Some mobile home parks you rent your space. In others you buy a "share" and use of a space is included. The latter are called "resident owned".
