I'm like Irishiis49's husband, I have allergies almost all year round I remember that when I was living in Chicago, I only had allergies in the fall (oct-mid nov).

Keep in mind, too, that everyone's body changes every three years - at least that's what I learned at an allergy center I went to in Cambridge, MA. My allergies were *that* bad where I was missing work alot thinking I kept getting bronchitis, flu, etc.. At the time, after they discovered what I was allergic to, I opted for allergy drops which contain minute amounts of what you are allergic to. You put it under your tongue every day to build up your immune system. I did that for two years, every pre-spring and every pre-fall.

Now, the only time I get allergies is when I have to close all my windows when it gets cold (I'm still up north). I know where I live doesn't help with asking about the Tampa Bay area but just to give you some thoughts that even if you find you have some allergy problems, there are ways of dealing with it and I wouldn't let that possibility deter you from moving.

My wife and I were from Michigan and she is worst than being there. In the North you have cold weather for 6 or more months and nothing is blooming. But here something is blooming year round. The windows stay closed all the time and ac turned on.
